Apply material using a Mac

- [Instructor] Applying materials on a Mac will look differently than applying them on a Windows machine. If you are a Windows user, feel free to skip to the videos on applying materials in Windows. Mac users, let's add some color and texture to our model. First, let's open up the Materials window by clicking on the pink bucket icon or the keyboard shortcut letter b. In our Materials window, there are a few icons that will give us different options for color, but the brick icon at the end is really what we'll be looking more deeply into. We can click on this dropdown menu here to see a library of materials that have been preloaded into SketchUp. We have glass, metal, water, wood, and more. You can explore these different folders as you need. This library is somewhat limited, so be sure to check out the video on importing custom textures. In this model we're going to add some glass.
