Circle tool

- [Instructor] Before drawing a circle, it's important to note that a circle in SketchUp has no round edges. If I zoom in on the circle here, I can see that the edges are simply smaller straight segments that appear to look round from further away. The more segments there are, the smoother the curve appears. So to create a circle, we can click on the Circle icon in our toolbar, which is behind the Rectangle icon. If I click on this little arrow here, I can see that I have an option that I can change it to a circle. Or I can tap the letter C on my keyboard. You'll notice in the Measurements box in the lower right hand corner that the default number of sides is 24. You have control over this, but for the moment let's leave it at 24. Click and release to choose the starting point that will be the center of your circle and then click and release to choose the radius or you can type in a precise number to create a…
