- [Instructor] Do you find you're importing the same texture images over and over to your models? Would you like to add them to your materials library so they are available every time you open a new model without having to import? There is a simple way to accomplish this on a Windows computer. In the exercise file model, there are pictures of various metal textures which I use often when modeling. I want to add the images to my materials library, so when I'm in any SketchUp model on this computer, they're listed. We will create a library of the textures in this model. The trick is to have only the textures you want in a particular library inside your model. We are going to create a library of metal textures, so we need to delete this veneer texture that comes with the SketchUp program. Click on the group and delete it by hitting delete on your keyboard.
