- [Instructor] To learn how to divide edges in SketchUp we are going to add some doors to this cabinet. Instead of doing the math to figure out how many equally sized doors can fit on this face, we're going to use the divide tool. So I have my select tool activated, and I'm going to select this edge here so that I can divide it. I'm going to right-click on the edge and choose divide. As I move my cursor, you'll notice there are some red dots that appear, and that's going to be where the new segment is going to end. As I hover around, I can see a yellow box appear that will let me know how many segments there will be and the length of each segment. For this one, I'd like there to be four segments, four doors. So when I see the four, I'm going to click and release to set that. At first it looks the same as it did before, but if I select each edge, I can see I now have four equal segments with new end points. So now I…
