Exporting a model to CAD

- [Tutor] SketchUp Pro has many advantages over the free versions. One of the advantages is saving tons of time exporting what you created in sketch to CAD, so you do not have to redraw what's already been done. Here we have a beautiful kitchen drawn in SketchUp. Someone needs this drawing as a CAD file in elevation view, which we can accomplish with SketchUp pro. You do not even need to have CAD installed on your computer to make it happen. To use drawings from this program and another program, we usually want to export a two dimensional file, especially with an elevation view. Change the camera view, from perspective to parallel projection, by clicking the camera menu and choosing Parallel Projection, update your scene, right click on the Scene tab and choose Update, and save your model, file save or control S or command S.
