Fade models in Edit Mode

- [Instructor] Sometimes we need to edit objects in our model but too many things are in our way. There is a quick way to hide things you are not editing found in model info. In this exercise file, we need to access the other side of the Island to add cabinets and a dishwasher on that side for an elevation view. It can be tough to edit that area with all of the other objects on the wall in the way. Everything in the kitchen is on the kitchen tag. So we can not turn off the visibility to that tag. We could hide all of the objects and bring them back later but there is something even easier. On both the Mac and Windows computer, go to the Window menu and find model info. Click components, an arrow down to fade rest of model. Here, we can fade objects out of edit even more by moving the slider or just check the box next to hide.
