Flipping and mirroring an object

- [Instructor] To flip or mirror an object, you'll need to know which axis you're flipping along. So if I want to flip this chair and basically fold it over the red axis, I'm going to right click on it and choose Flip Along, Groups, Red. And it flips it so that it mirrors itself along the red axis. The same thing goes with the green axis. If I right click and choose Flip Along, Groups, Green, it will fold along the green axis. If you accidentally choose the wrong color, you can choose the Undo command under Edit, Undo Flip, Command + Z or Control + Z on a Windows machine. And then you can choose the correct color. I often choose the incorrect axis to flip along, especially when I'm zoomed in on something and I can't see the relating axis. Another way to flip an object is to use the Scale tool.
