Making the most of inferences

- Point inference, shape inference, line inference, screen tips and axis colors. These are types of helpers you can find in SketchUp called inference engines that assist you on your modeling journey. Zoom in to the right of the 12 inch by 24 inch rectangle. We will draw this rectangle by using the line tool X and Y axis and the VCB or Value Control Box. Some people call this measurements box. When we're drawing two dimensionally, we always want to be in top view. You can get there by using the camera menu, standard views, top. Or you can use the views toolbar. Activate the line tool by clicking the pencil icon or tapping shortcut L on your keyboard. Your cursor will change to a pencil. That's an inference to let you know we are in the line tool. Click your mouse once next to the rectangle. Lift up your finger and move your mouse to the right. Slowly move your mouse until you find the red axis or the X axis. That's…
