- [Instructor] I am often asked how to modify a texture but keep its original as well. This is the simplest way to create various transformations of an image and keep them all in the model. I want this wood flooring installed at a 45 degree angle but still keep the flooring at the stairs in a straight pattern. I need the same textures in my model but doing different things. The first thing I need to do is to create a guideline at a 45 degree angle. I will use the protractor tool to do that. Can find that either under the Tools menu, Protractor, or in the large tool set. The protractor tool requires two clicks. The first click is at an end point. I need to do this on the blue access so I will lock that in with the up arrow key. Now I can click and my second click aligns the protractor to an access. After my second click, I can then move my mouse and look at my value control box or my measurements box. It wants an…
