Protractor tool
- [Instructor] The protractor tool is great for measuring angles and creating guidelines. To activate the protractor tool, you can click on the tools dropdown menu and then choose protractor. A protractor will appear on your cursor, and as you move it around your model it will align with the various different faces. If you're having trouble aligning it with the face that you'd like it to, you can use the arrow keys. The right arrow will lock it into the red axis. The left arrow will lock it into the green. The up arrow will lock it into the blue. In this case, I'd like to align with this face. So I'm going to lock it into the green by hitting the left arrow key. I'd like to create some guidelines so that I can create a roof line for this house. I've going to hover over the center point of this line, and I'm going to click and release.
