Three quick ways to create stairs

- [Instructor] Need to create a simple set of stairs in a short amount of time? This video shows you three of the quickest ways to create stairs without requiring an extension. The first way we will try is the subdivided edge method. We will use these objects here to do that. Get into top view using your views toolbar. You can also find this under camera standard views, zoom in and get into edit mode of this group. We need to make copies of one of these edges, at 12" apart. Activate the copy command by first pressing "m" for move and Control or Option for copy. Click on an end point and move your mouse on the green axis. I'm going to lock it in with my left arrow key . Type in 12, hit Enter and immediately type 9x, Enter to make nine multiple copies at 12" apart. We can double check that with the Tape Measure Tool.
