Undo and let go

- [Instructor] There are many times that you will need to go back and undo an action that you performed in SketchUp. The undo function is perfect for that. You can either use the drop down menu at the top for Edit, Undo or you can use the keyboard shortcut Command + Z or Control + Z if you're on a Windows machine. For example, if I pickup this chair and I move it and I set it down, I've completed that action so the undo function would apply. I can go to Edit, Undo, Move. But what if I'd like to set something down while I am in mid-function, mid-action of moving it. Well then I can hit the Escape key to set that back down right where it was. For example, again, if I'm moving this chair, if I've clicked and released and I've picked it up but I haven't set it down yet, I can hit the Escape key to let go of that mid-action.
