- [Narrator] Job descriptions are a treasure trove of information for the observant reader. The objective is to uncover the skills the employer wants to figure out how closely you match the person they're looking to hire. Fortunately, there are currently many technical job openings so if you have the skills, you'll probably find opportunities that match your technical qualifications. After you've located an interesting job posting, it's time to begin the detective work of interpreting the description. At first glance, it might seem that it should be just as simple as reading the bullet points.
