- The interview is over. You've successfully closed it with a message that you're qualified for the job, would fit in to their team, and will be waiting to hear from them. You've said goodbye and you're out the door. But the job application process is not yet complete. You'll want to finish with a few final details that will help you recall this particular interview when it comes time to consider any job offers, and finalizing this part of the process on the right foot. Let's start by carefully reviewing the notes you jotted during the interview. Are there action items you need to take care of? Did you promise to send them more information or samples of your work? Do you have the interviewers' business cards so you can address future correspondence to the right people?
