The message you want to communicate to the potential employer about your ability to do the job is paramount in creating your resume, and how you organize the information will help a hiring manager understand the message in the best light possible. They expect to find information on your resume organized into a few general categories. You'll find hundreds of IT resume samples online and in automated resume creators, but almost all of them will include these sections even if they are labeled something slightly different. Most resumes will have a section for your contact information including social media links, a statement of your career objective or a career summary with a headline, a listing of your technical skills and knowledge, your professional IT experiences and your education or professional development.
