Saving and files

- [Jason] Now the last thing you need to make sure you do when you're in Stata is to save your work. First, there's your data. If we go back to the data editor, you can save your data as a data file. Right here, it's at DTA and we're going to just save this file as a DTA file. If we want to go back and use this, we can pull the data from there. As before, if we X out of the data file, this doesn't make the data go away. It is there. You want to make sure not to lose any of your commands or any of your data. And of course, you can always print your file in order to save the output. This is another great thing to do, especially as a PDF to make sure you don't lose your work. As with all data analysis, one of the best things you can do is save early and often.
