Adding transitions to your scenes

- Most of the time when you're editing video and animatics they should be handled with a simple Cut or Dissolve transition. And the Dissolve is usually used to represent a passage of time. Now, 95 to 99 percent of the time you're always just going to be using a Cut so try not to do anything fancy. But for those times that you do need another transition Storyboard Pro does offer you some other options. Transitions can only be placed between shots or scenes they cannot be placed between panels of the same shot or scene. Just like editing in any live action software, transitions are only added between shots so don't try to throw a Dissolve right into the middle of a shot. Let's take a look, we've got five different transitions that we can do. The main one, is a simple Cut, like see this is what you're going to see most of the time. Just cuts from one image to another.
