Audio gain

- [Instructor] Sometimes, raising the volume of a sound clip to the top is not enough for your needs. You can also use the tool audio gain to make a clip louder or quieter. So for instance, in this shot here. - [Character] Must not be expecting us. - [Instructor] I've got a background noise on purpose, which means that his voice is not really popping the way I need it to. Now I can always adjust the volume. This is the clip of my guy speaking here. I can raise the volume up. Let's take a listen. - [Character] Must not be expecting us. - [Instructor] Still, not quite loud enough. So I'm going to lower this back down to right around the center before I add gain. The reason I do that is once I add gain, I want to have the ability in my volume bar to adjust it whichever direction I want to. Let's make this a little bit bigger.
