- [instructor] Starting with Storyboard Pro version 20, the cutter tool has become much more powerful and helps us save even more time as we draw. And the strongest cutting tools are only available on the vector layers. So let's take a quick look. So the cutting tool, if you select your picker tool here and go down to cutter release, you'll see there kind of looks like a paper airplane. I'm sure that's supposed to be an X-Acto blade. under our tool properties tab drop down. We have some options. The first option is how we want to select what we're going to cut , either the marquee or the lasso. So the marquee draws a square as you drag around or rectangle. I prefer always having the lasso which will draw any shape to cut through. So for instance, I can just cut right through there, and cut just that one floating eyebrow.
