- [Instructor] Bitmap images can be three main things. Photos, scans, or drawings created on a bitmap layer. Bitmap images can be on bitmap layers as well as on vector layers. And that changes your options. So let's create a bitmap layer. This drawing was done on a vector layer. The vector lines. You can see I can manipulate individual lines easily. I export this out as a JPEG, and I put it into my library. So let's start a new panel and I'm just going to drag this in. Now by default, this has become another vector layer. But it's a bitmap image. I know it's a vector layer because this little gray line on the side here, if that was a bitmap layer, that would be blue, which you'll see in just a little bit. Now, as I showed you before, on the vector I was able to drag and grab just that eye. But anywhere I click on this image, you see it moves around 'cause this is now a bitmap image.
