- So, you've got text in your art. Now what? Well, maybe you used text for a logo on your boards, or, if you're working on commercials, there's almost always screen text that needs to be added. Like most productions, anything that appears in your boards is likely to change at some point, so let's take a look at editing the text and how to make your text fit inside your art. So, in our exercise file, let's actually go over to the the second panel, to Scene 39, Panel 2, and notice we have some text here, and there's a misspelling. Well, that's pretty simple. Let's go to the layer that has the text in it, grab my text tool, and I can just click in here and highlight the R in "Sturff", and get rid of that, and I'll just hit delete. Now, I have another option of selecting my text tool, which is, I just selected off of it, I can do control+shift+t, which instantly brings up my text tool, which allows me to quickly work with it and highlight any part of the text I want to on that layer.
