Lock scene numbers
- [Instructor] Once a project moves into production, certain things can't be changed and one of them is the scene numbers. Now, productions organize everything by scene number. And once the scene numbers are set, our storyboard scene numbers have to match those being used by production. And when the scene numbers are matched, you have to lock your scene numbers so they don't change as you work. Luckily, this is very easy. Now, I've gone through the final script in the breakdowns that production has done and I see that our scene numbers match up to it. Of course, you could see it here under your Panel tab. You can also see your scene and sequence numbers over here to the left of your timeline. And I prefer working in the timeline but you're going to see the numbers no matter which layout you're using. So to lock your numbers, once they're set you simply go to Storyboard, come down to Lock Scene and Panel Numbers. And…
