Lock and unlock layers

- [Instructor] How many times have you been drawing for around 20 minutes or more only to realize you've been working on the wrong layer? All digital artists have experienced this. Well, in Storyboard Pro, you can lock certain layers so you don't accidentally make any changes to them. So there's three ways to lock a layer. Let's say this hand here, I'll turn an ink line on and off. Let's say that I love that hand. It's the perfect hand. And I don't want to change it. Well, the first, easiest way to lock it is to click that little lock symbol so it closes and turns a brighter, lighter gray. That is now locked. Locked means that if I grab my brush, notice I can't draw or even if I grab my layer transform tool, I can't do any transformations. Nothing is there. If I go to an unlocked layer, you see that I have the ability to transform. We'll undo that. So that's one way. Another way to lock a layer is to go to Layer, drop…
