- [Instructor] When I go through a storyboard to give notes to my artists, I want to make sure that the notes are easy to see. In fact I do the same thing when I'm going over storyboard with the director, and I'm making notes for myself. I need to make sure I don't miss anything when I go back to make those corrections. So the first thing I do is I always have a layer just for notes. That way, no matter what I have sketched on my notes layer all you have to do is turn off that layer, that way it's easy to find which layer has the notes and of course I would never draw over art on a layer. Next thing I do is I turn on tracking. So if we go to storyboard down to track changes I'm going to click on auto tracking mode. Now it's on if we go back to it and hover over it, you see this check mark next to it. So now any change I make to a panel regardless of what it is it'll highlight in yellow.
