- [Instructor] I often want to add highlights or shadows to colored areas in my drawings, but that was time consuming because storyboard pro didn't offer mass in earlier versions. But now starting in version 20, we do. The sense of brush options, act like masks, and there're two modes, overlay painting and repaint mass modes. So the first thing we need to do is find that tool. So if you go to your brush tool and hold it down you'll see stencil brushes and option, we'll select that. Now I'm going to find a layer I want to work on. There's a vector layer here that I've already pre-painted, this shoulder right here. Now, I always like to color on layers under my line work. Why? Well, it's a lot faster to make changes if I'm not having to worry about also coloring over or erasing my line work. So I will skip lines on higher layer, I color on lower layers.
