- Sometimes written notes are just simply not enough to help explain some storyboards. That's why Storyboard Pro has the option to have drawings in a sketch tab. So let's take a look at why and how I tend to use the sketch tab. So here's one of my storyboard drawings, and there's a lot of motion that's happening in this. of this flying pickup truck going past a bunch of flying containers that are being held aloft by this big Airship. Well, to help explain where it is at this point I'll often, when I'm working with a director or with production, sketch out what's happening. So here you can see the giant Airship, and I sketched in down here, the little flying pickup truck. So you could see where it is in relation to the Airship for this shot.
