Using the exercise files

- Some of the videos in this course will not need one of our exercise files, but I suggest you do have the software open and follow along with Storyboard Pro on your computer. If you're a premium member of lynda.com you can reference the exercise files, but you need to understand how the executable files for Storyboard Pro differ from most software programs. You'll download a zip file for each exercise file. Unzip the file that you wanna work with. When you unzip the file, you'll see a folder with numerous sub-folders and files within it, as you see here. You must keep the organization of the folders and files exactly as it unzips, or the Storyboard Pro file will not work. If you need to move the master Storyboard Pro folder, you must move the entire folder. Within the main folder, you'll see a file with the extension ".SBOARD." This is your Storyboard Pro executable file. You can double-click on it to open the file. However, this file cannot be moved out of the folder it's in, or it won't work. It needs all of the supporting folders and files to function properly. Working with Storyboard Pro files is very easy. The program sets up the organization every time you start a new file. Now, you can just concentrate on being creative and telling a great story.
