Working with the Panel view dialog, text, and tools

- A good storyboard, in addition to having great artwork, also includes action notes and dialog. In the default work space, over on the right-hand side of the screen, you'll find our Panel View tabs. In addition to the Dialog and Action Notes, you'll also find a Tool Property tab and a Library tab. These are all part of the default. So let's start with taking a look at the Panel tab and what's in it. This is live-action sample storyboard, so you'll see scenes shot in Panel. You would not see a Shot line if we were doing an animation, you'll also see the Duration, this is minutes, seconds, and frames. And I can actually edit the length of this shot simply by using these up and down arrows. And it tells me right next to it how many total frames it is. I can also add voice annotations to a panel. If I'm giving notes to another story artist, I can record myself how to do it. We'll cover the details on voice annotations in another video. There's also pre-set boxes here for Dialog, Action…
