Add a reference variable to display name
- [Presenter] In this movie, we're going to use the variable that storyline created for us, so we can display the learner's name back to the learner, as well as use their name throughout the course to personalize lessons. So here is what it looks like. I'm going to begin by adding a regular text box to the slides. So go to the insert tab up here on the ribbon and just choose text box, and just click anywhere on the slide. Now keep that text box blinking, and this time we want to insert a reference. So what this is is just go to the insert tab, and then over here reference. When we think about reference, we want to refer to the value of the variable. Or maybe more simply just display the value of that variable. So click reference, and I only have at this point one variable in my project name, I'm going to select it, click okay and that's really hard to see. I'm going to move that over the white circle right…
