Add a text entry field to the slide

- [Instructor] In this movie we'll set up the text entry fields that we'll use to collect learner's notes from each of the slides in the project. So let's go ahead and just drill down into the journal slide. And we want to add that first text entry field. So we do that by coming up here to the insert tab and then all the way over here under interactive objects we have input. And two types of ways to collect information. We have the numeric entry field, which is used to collect numbers that you can perform calculations with. And we have the text entry field for alphanumeric characters. That's the one we want. Click and drag to draw that text field on the slide. Pretty much like any other object in Storyline you can format it, resize it, move it around, fill it with a white just to make it contrast a little better, I don't really care for that gradient, and a little darker outline.
