Copy and paste formatting

- [Instructor] A great way to save time when you need to format multiple images, shapes, or text, is by using the Format Painter to copy and paste the formatting between multiple objects. For example, we have these three images here and I've gone ahead and formatted this first one by making it black and white, adding a border, and a drop shadow. To copy the formatting from this first image to the other two, we'll start by selecting it and double-clicking on the Format Painter from the home tab in the ribbon. You'll notice that a paintbrush has been added to our cursor and this means that the Format Painter is turned on. Next, simply click on these images here to paste the formatting that we've copied from the first image. And now that we've copied and pasted our formatting, we can click on the Format Painter once more to turn it off.
