- [Instructor] Using variables to capture and display a learner's name is one of the most common ways to build more personalized and dynamic eLearning. And it's also one of the easiest ways to begin working with variables and variable references in Storyline 360. Let's take a look at how it works. So I'm starting here in a brand new project and I'm just going to double click by slide right here to drill down into the slide. And I want to adjust my setting right there. Now I like to work in the widescreen aspect ratio. It's a personal preference, but it feels a little bit more modern. So I'm just going to come up to the design tab on the ribbon. Choose story size and I'm going to choose a 16:9 aspect ratio. I can leave all the other settings alone and click Okay. And that just feels a lot better to me.
