Creating and linking scenes

- [Instructor] Storyline groups individual slides into what it calls scenes. And even though most of your courses will be linear, you'll want to create new scenes now and again so you can separate the basic building blocks of your course. I want to create a new scene now that I can build quiz questions in. So I'm in Story View. To create a new scene, I'll select new scene. I'll give this new scene a name so I know what the basic building block is. It's going to be our quiz. And I'll give the first slide in that scene a name, double click. So we now have two scenes, but they are not linked, meaning the learner's going to get to slide 1.4 down here and won't be able to proceed. You can tell these scenes aren't linked because they're side by side. To link them, we are going to use triggers, and there are two ways to link these scenes.
