- [Instructor] Not all content is inherently exciting, and I'm talking to you compliance courses. But even the most boring courses are still trying to solve problems or change learner behavior. That's where decision-making activities like branching scenarios can help you move past click-and-read courses. Scenarios are most effective when they present learners with realistic problems they're facing. Admittedly, in the real world, decisions are rarely clearcut, and correct choices aren't always obvious. Sometimes there isn't a correct choice at all, just different consequences, and that's okay. You can use that when you're designing your scenarios. Using simple scenario models like the 3C model, can help you identify the relevant situations your learners face in the real world. Later in this course, we'll build a simple branching scenario from start to finish using the 3C model.
