Inserting and editing Content Library assets

- [Narrator] Don't you feel really efficient when you can bang out three or four things in your to-do list when visiting the local shopping center, that's kind of how I feel about all the assets available in the Content Library. The Content Library is a one-stop shop that allows me to spend more time developing and less time hunting for assets. On this slide, I'm making the point that the company I work for is the key to our client's puzzle. And I need some type of visual to back up that metaphor. And that's going to go right here on the right. So let's check out the stock assets available to us in the Content Library. To get there we'll go to insert. And then the Content Library section is right here. Let's check out our characters first maybe they could be the key to someone's puzzle. So all sorts of options. You see we have photographic here, we've got illustrated, female, male. Different types of clothing, corporate. Here's something a little bit more casual. If we want medical, and then different ages as well. For this one, let's go photographic, female. And then let's go a little corporate. Now depending on your license with Storyline, you may have some of these options you may have none of them, but the basic moves are the same. I like Vicki and of course there are a lot of different poses as well. But this one works well for right now. We'll select insert. All right, she's an option. Looks pretty good we'll put her off to the side. How about a photo? Go up to insert, and then photos. We'll type in our search term, which is puzzle. Select enter, and whole bunch of options. And that one might look good with our black background. I'm going to hold down shift to resize, that look pretty good. I'll put that off on the side. See what our other options are. Let's go to illustrations this time. Insert illustrations. Now Storyline is remembering, Oh we know you're searching for puzzle Daniel so there it goes. Oh, kind of like that one. If I were to do an illustration, I'd probably pick that one. I'll put that off to the side. Icons love icons, they're so flexible. Let's go that one. Oh, so you see what the issue is, right? So I'm going to hold down the shift key to make it a little bit larger. I'm going to right click, and sometimes that format shape is all the way down at the very bottom. I'll select that, I'll select green so we can see this guy. All right that could work. What's nice about icons, is you can change a color real quickly as I showed you. And that's just super helpful. You can dial it into your company's colors. All right last one, video. Insert, videos. And again, it's recognizing I want to search for puzzle videos. Let's scroll down. How about Rubik's Cube? And a little preview here let's check it out. Yeah, that's kind of nice we'll insert it. I'm going to hold down shift, make this smaller. Position it, let's preview. As you can see, there's lots of assets available to you in the Content Library. And this plethora will allow you to spend more time developing and less time hunting for assets.
