- [Instructor] If you were a learner, what would hold your interest longer, the information you see on this slide, or this information? Images are an easy way to create visual interest, which, if you've been following along, know is a best practice of ours. Let me show you a few moves I do all the time when it comes to inserting and formatting images. I'm going to use this 50-50 layout to present some information on the future of hydroelectric power. To create some visual interest, I want an image on the right half here. So the first thing I'm going to do is turn on our grid 'cause I want that 50-50 layout. So right click off slide, Grid and Guides, display grid on screen. Now let's go get our image. The keyboard shortcut would be Control + J, but let's go the long way.
