- [Instructor] When you're getting started with an intercut software, it's important to know where you are in it. I think of storyline as a house that has different spaces of views. And each space has a different function. So let me show you around. Here we are in story view, which is the default view when you open a project. Story view gives you an aerial view of the structure of the project. And speaking of structure, storyline groups, its individual slides, which you see here into scenes. Story view is a great place to copy, paste, create and delete whole scenes or slides. And you can do that by just right clicking on the scene. Story view is also great for seeing the path the learner can take through the project. And this particular path is linear, as you see. Story view is also great for checking your slide properties.
