Three types of variables in Storyline

- [David] One of the best things about working with variables in Storyline 360, is that you don't have to know anything about coding. Storyline is going to walk you through the entire process of creating and using variables in a simple wizard. And what's more, you only have three types of variables to work with. You have text variables, and those are what you use to hold text values or alphanumeric characters. Common use cases include asking the learner for their name and then using their learner name back in the course to personalize the content, that's an easy win. Number of variables, calculate numeric values. So common use cases are for scoring, right? If you were creating a custom quiz and you want to create a score for that quiz or calculating the number of times something's happened in the course, the learners clicked something or missed something.
