Using the ruler grid and guides

- [Instructor] The ruler, grid, and guides are handy tools you can use to align and position objects on our slides. To turn on the ruler, click on the view tab in the ribbon and select the ruler check box. Once the ruler is enabled, we can use it to add vertical or horizontal guides by clicking and dragging from it. For example, we'll drag a horizontal guide here, which we can use to align our slide title. And you'll notice, as we position our slide title, it snaps into place. To turn on grid lines, from the view tab select the grid lines check box here. And as we can see, this displays a fixed set of horizontal and vertical lines which we can also use to align our objects. And that's how you can use the ruler, the grid, and guides in Storyline.
