Adding detail with the Slope Blur node

- [Instructor] In this video we're going to take a look at how we can use the Slop Blur node to add both interesting and complex detail additions to our texture. And so let's make sure that we are focused on the 06 Slop pin and then click to select the Slope Blur node. Then press the backspace key so as to remove it. As soon as we do this we will be able to see the effects that this node was having on our final texture. As the circular pattern that we edited with the Curve node earlier now becomes both smooth and rather new looking. Selecting the Blend node let's press the spacebar there. And after searching for it add a Slop Blur node to the graph. Being sure to use the Grayscale variant in this particular instance. Looking at the parameters we see that we have three options that we can adjust. Of course just as with some other nodes that we have looked at this version of Slop Blur uses Grayscale values to determine both the slope value and blur amount added by the input map. It is…
