Adding the emissive
- [Instructor] To create the effect of our product giving off light of it's own, we're going to be creating an emissive material. Or in simple terms, a material that itself emits light from a surface. And so, to that end, let's right click on our package name, and then from the new layout, select the new substance graph option. Again we will use the default metal rough template set at two K, and naturally enough call this material emissive. In this instance we only need three outputs to produce the desired effect. These being the base puller, roughness, and strangely enough, emissive channels. And so let's delete the normal and hide outputs that were created by default. The third output we can actually repurpose, as we don't currently have an emissive output in the graph. Clicking on the metallic option then, let's rename it emissive, and then change the usage dropdown over to emissive as well.
