Blending the materials, part 1

- [Instructor] With our data maps in hand, we are ready to start putting things together here and see how we can actually use Substance Designer as a product visualization tool. Now as is oftentimes the case, there are in fact multiple ways in which we could approach this in Designer. But to start with here, we're going to use the very powerful multi-material blend node. And so, with our cursor over the graph view, let's press the spacebar key, and then search for and add that node. Now the cool thing here is that this node will allow us to blend up to 16 different materials together using a color ID map, which, thanks to our baking, we now have. Let's set this node up so that it works for our product then by coming to its parameters. And as I am using a metal rough workflow for this product, make sure that the channels set to be used are baked color, normal, emissive, roughness, and metallic.
