Display and render options

- [Instructor] The last two menu entries that we will look at in this chapter are display, which gives us control over viewport feedback and render, which as the name suggests, lets us choose how our 3D view will be rendered. Looking firstly at the display menu then, we can click to expand the options and see that the first item in the list gives us the ability to view meshes in the 3D view in a wide frame format. Now unfortunately, because we earlier altered our displacement and tesselation options, enabling this right now would probably render our viewport completely unusable. Due to the sheer number of wires that would need to be drawn over the top of the texture. To test this option then, let's come back to the tesselation options by selecting edit from the materials menu. And then set the tesselation value back to its default of four. Turning on the wide frame option in the display menu now, and then taking a closer look at the geometry clearly shows just what this option does…
