Grunge maps

- One way in which we can add realism to a material is by layering up and then using details to either adjust base color components, add variation to a normal map, or for use, as a mask that can blend multiple flows or chance together. In this instance, we will look at using a grunge map to mask off some portions of our material, you know, to give a more realistic look to the end result. And we want to begin by focusing in on the grunge map, found at nav zero four. And then we can jump into the library section of the UI and click to enter the noises section, where we see a number of noise types that can give us a good starting point for our breakup. Now, as we scroll, we see a number of grunge map types from which we can choose, all mimicking different types of dirt and grime that we might want to replicate.
