Importing meshes and maps into designer
- [Instructor] Once our asset has been created inside our DCC application of choice and all of the preparation work such as UV mapping Vertex assignments, normal directions, and so on, has all been taken care of, we will need to bring it into designer so that the texturing work can begin. There are though a number of important options that we need to think about in connection with externally created assets and how we connect them to our substance packages. Some of which we'll take a look at here now, inside substance designer, then let's come to the explorer panel and right-click on our currently open package where we see that we actually have three options that we can choose from with regard to importing external files that we might want to use.
