Navigating the 2D view

- [Instructor] The 2D view in Substance Designer's UI is the perfect way to view the output of specific nodes in the graph, simply because it gives us the ability to look at their content, without the distraction of lights, displacement, reflections, or any other material slash viewport enhancements that we may have added to the scene. As this makes it the perfect debugging tool in a texturing workflow, we will certainly want to know how to go about using it. Down in the bottom right of the view, then, we have a readout for the current texture to resolution ratio, or the zoom factor, if we want to use Photoshop-speak. If we click the plus button, we increase the percentage, and if we hit the minus button, we decrease it. We can even highlight the figures and then type in the percentage value manually, if we like, thus allowing us to quickly get close in, and see how our edits may be affecting certain areas of the node.
