- Now that we have come to the end of our "Substance Designer Essential Training" course, we will probably want to know what we can do to improve our move forward with our texturing workflow. Going out into the real world and taking some photographic reference is going to help us out a lot because we can then start to break those photographs down into the core shapes and other construction elements that we can then try to recreate inside Substance Designer. After which, we can look to recreate the smaller details. And then finally break down and add color information on top of that as well. Once we have gotten used to creating individual materials, we can then look into creating composite materials that combine a number of other substances or flows. Such as, let's say grassy floors with mud. Maybe twigs and leaves for instance, and many, many more. All of which can be constructed using either their own graph, or base material…
