Preferences and important setup
- [Instructor] Every artist needs to be able to set up a workflow that suits the demands of their projects, which means that knowing where in Designer 2018 the preference settings are, and knowing which ones we may want to change, will only make us a happier artist in the end. Let's check these out, then, by coming to the Edit menu. And then from there, selecting the Preferences option. On the left of the dialog, we have several tabs that open up various groups of preferences that can be altered. And by default, because it is the first in the list, we will find ourselves inside the General tab. One of the options that we may want to customize as a new user would be the Recent Documents limit, which you can see is currently set to a value of five. Now, depending on how we work, we may want to have either more or less than this available to us. And if I go ahead and set this to two, and then hit Apply and OK, we can come to the File menu and hover over the Recent Packages list and see…
