- [Instructor] With the quick access options for adding nodes to a graph taken care of, we can next take a look at using feedback features in the graph in order to help speed up the texturing process. The first of these being the visible node connections themselves. Now whether we call these connection lines noodles, pipes, or whatever, one thing we can (laughs) agree on is that they are a visual guide to how the current graph is flowing and working. They tell us which nodes are connected to and controlling what, and they help us visualize the overall flow of the graph towards the final outputs. The big question for us, though, is how we might utilize all of this feedback in a way that will benefit our texturing work. Well first you will notice that by default, Substance Designer uses curved connection lines to show us how the nodes in the graph are tied together. And whilst this look works for some artists, it can for others make things a little hard to read. If that is the case for…
