- When asked to add materials to a product visualization piece, we may be inclined to dive right in and start creating. Something that I would recommend doing when starting any new project though, is to put aside time to plan the best workflow approach for the job at hand. Not only can this help make life less stressful, but it can also help speed up the entire production process by eliminating unnecessary and repetitive tasks that can eat up our time. In this particular project, for instance, I am going to make life easier for myself by creating and working with just a single substance package that contains multiple material graphs, simply because if we used multiple substance packages then we would even need to add multiple mesh files, one for each unique material, or we would need to create a masking cum blending system, possibly in a completely different application.
